If you'd like colleagues in your district / school partnership to be able to grab a copy of formatives you've created, then publishing to your district or school's private library is a great option. Unless you publish as a Common Assessment, your colleagues will be able to edit their copy, and it won't affect your original.

You can publish straight from your formatives dashboard / tab, or from within a formative.

To publish from the Formatives dashboard:

  1. Click on the bubble to the left of the formative
  2. Choose "Publish" from the menu that appears at the bottom of the page
  3. Select your district, school, or team under "Who can access this formative?"
  4. Select the grade level and subject
  5. Write an optional description (this will help other teachers to quickly grasp the content and purpose of your formative when they are searching in the library)
  6. Click "Publish".

To publish from within a formative:

  1. Click on the triple dots at the top right of the page
  2. Choose "Share"
  3. Click "Add" next to "Publish to Library"
  4. Select your district, school, or team under "Who can access this formative?"
  5. Select the grade level and subject
  6. Write an optional description (this will help other teachers to quickly grasp the content and purpose of your formative when they are searching in the library)
  7. Click "Publish".

To access your district / school's private library:

  1. Go to the Library tab
  2. Click "filters"
  3. Select your district, school, or team!

To add a formative to your dashboard, simply click "Add to my formatives list" at the bottom of the preview panel, or the blue "+" icon. A copy will be added to your dashboard, which you can edit and assign to your classes!
